Christopher T. Cappo

Christopher T. Cappo is the president of Cappo Electrical Marketing Incorporated, CEMI a sales and marketing service for electrical manufacturers. Cappo began this current role in June 2007 when CEMI was created to serve the Louisiana and Mississippi Region.

Cappo began his leadership career in 1995 when he joined General Electric and was appointed Branch Manager of GE Supply-Baton Rouge & Lafayette. While in that role he was responsible for core growth and operational improvement. In 1998, he became the manger of North Texas for GE Supply where he had responsibility for multiple branches across northern Texas. In 2002, Cappo was promoted to GE Supply corporate where he served as Marketing Manager for lighting products in Shelton, CT. There he was an integral member of the corporate marketing team. In 2004, Cappo joined GE Capital, GE's largest "growth engine," as VP-Business Development for GE Capital Solutions, an asset based lending company. In 2005, he became the VP-GM of North and South America for Terex Crushing and Screening based in Louisville, KY.

Previously, Cappo began his career in the electrical industry in 1978; he worked for Lambert Electric in Metairie, LA. In 1992, he entered into the Summers Electric Manager's Trainee Program, and in 1993 he joined CED Baton Rouge as an outside salesperson.

Cappo was born in Baton Rouge, LA. He attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University.

Tammie Cappo

Tammie C. Cappo is an Inside Sales Person/Office Administrator and joined CEMI in July of 2007. Prior to joining CEMI, Tammie was a Global Accounts Sales Manager for Cingular Wireless in Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas. She started her career with the BellSouth Corporation in Baton Rouge, LA. With BellSouth, she had assignments of increased responsibility which included Corporate Sales, Global Sales and Global Accounts Management.

Tammie was born in New Orleans, LA and is a native of Denham Springs, LA. She graduated from Denham Springs High School and attended Louisiana State University.

Colleen Terrell is an Inside Sales person and joined CEMI in August 2008. Prior to joining CEMI, Colleen was the Logistics Coordinator with Procter & Gamble’s Folger’s Coffee Silo Division in New Orleans, LA. She started her career with the Procter & Gamble Distributing Company in the New Orleans District Sales Office advancing in assignments and responsibility finally joining The Folger Coffee Company. There Colleen advanced to the Logistics Coordinator role providing leadership, training, and facilitating system wide improvements for the Regulatory, Inbound, and Outbound Logistics departments. She served as the cross-functional link between corporate buying, trading, legal compliance divisions and manufacturing plants. She also was the key interface with P&G Corporate and U. S. Customs, FDA, and USDA.

Colleen was born in New Orleans, LA and is a native there.

Ed Duhe has been in the electrical industry for over 45 years. A U.S. Army veteran, Ed first joined the electrical industry as Purchase and Estimating Manager for Lambert Electric in New Orleans, LA. From there he joined Frischhertz Electric as Purchasing Manager until 2008. Ed’s main focus is Contractor Projects and Distribution Sales.

Ed holds a degree from Delgado College, is a native of Reserve, LA and reside in the Baton Rouge area.

Dwight Griffin is a consultant on switchgear projects. Dwight is a U.S. Navy veteran, retired from GE after many assignments in Power Generation, Industrial Sales, and GE Supply. He is well known throughout the US Gulf Coast region as a leading application engineer for motors, drives, turbines, transformers, and switchgear.
