CEMI signs agreement to represent MGM Transformer Company. MGM Transformer Company was established in 1975 as a dry transformer manufacturer. After the acquisition of Sierra Transformer Company in 1982, MGM introduced liquid units to its product line. By 1990, MGM Transformer had grown to become the largest independent transformer manufacturer west of the Mississippi. To continue the growth of products within the transformer world, MGM Transformer Company opened a 120,000 square foot satellite manufacturing plant in 1991 for the production of 600V class general purpose lighting transformers. Presently, there are warehouse operations in 20 major cities throughout the continental United States.

CEMI signs agreement to represent Hammond Manufacturing. Hammond Manufacturing was founded in 1917 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. In the early years, the Company manufactured radios, power amplifiers, battery eliminators and transformers for the broadcast and communications industries. The explosive demand for electrical products of all kinds during the 1950's and 1960's created many opportunities for transformers and enclosures for the electrical and electronic industries.
Through the last three decades, the Company expanded its focus on the U.S. and International markets. In January 2001, the Hammond Transformer Group was spun off to form a new independent company, Hammond Power Solutions, Inc. The core products for Hammond Manufacturing continue as electrical enclosures, electronic packaging, power bars and electronic transformers and the next chapter for the Company began.
Today, Hammond Manufacturing is a global company with customers worldwide. Operating from facilities in Canada, the United States and Europe, Hammond offers a broad range of standard products, modification services and technical support to electrical and electronic manufacturers, utilities and institutions through a global network of agents and distributors.

CEMI signs agreement to represent KUHLMAN ELECTRIC, manufacturers of a broad range of electrical transformers for use on the electric utility system. Kuhlman manufactures medium power, instrument and distribution transformers at its two facilities in Crystal Springs, MS and Versailles, KY. The company also operates a Field Engineering Services Division based out of the Mississippi operation.

CEMI signs agreement to represent SYNERGY POWER CABLES, a cable manufacturer established in 1934, produces products that cover the entire range of copper, aluminum and fiber optic cables for telecommunication, power and electronics. Our operation in Central and North America focuses on Medium and High Voltage power cables, UD or Industrial, either Aluminum or Copper conductors, TRXLPE or EPR insulation and PVC or LLDPE jacketing.

Western Tube and Conduit of Long Beach, CA officially announced that effective July 1, 2007, CEMI will be its representative in Louisiana and Mississippi. This marks the first official manufactures' representative agreement for CEMI.
